The Jo Taylor Award for Excellence in Cancer Volunteering

Established in memory of Jo Taylor, this award celebrates the extraordinary impact that one individual can have through compassion, commitment and selfless service. Following her breast cancer diagnosis in 2007, Jo devoted her life to supporting others affected by cancer, transforming her own experience into a powerful force for change. Through her tireless advocacy, determination and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of people living with metastatic disease, Jo touched thousands of lives across Greater Manchester, the UK and beyond. Her legacy continues to inspire meaningful and lasting change.

The Jo Taylor Award for Excellence in Cancer Volunteering recognises individuals who dedicate their time and skills to supporting cancer services across Greater Manchester. Volunteers play a vital role within our cancer system, contributing in many different ways to improve services, outcomes and experiences for patients and the public. • Evidence of working with patients or members of the public to improve cancer services, outcomes or experiences
