This Van Can is back in Greater Manchester, from November 2024.

This time, it’s talking about bowel cancer. What are the signs and symptoms? Why is it important to catch them early? What is bowel screening and how do you complete an at-home bowel screening test?

The van will travel round all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester, talking to the general public and answering the questions above and more. Find out everything you need to know.

Altrincham Retail Park Friday 24th and Thursday 30th January
White City Retail Park Saturday 25th January and Saturday 1st February
Morrisons, Dukinfield Thursday 6th and Friday 14th February
Tesco, Droylsden Friday 7th and Saturday 15th February
Hyde Market Saturday 8th and Thursday 13th February

The van has already completed its visits to Manchester, Salford and Stockport. Following its visit to Trafford and Tameside, the van will move  around Greater Manchester as follows:

  • Oldham – late February
  • Rochdale – early March
  • Bury – late March
  • Bolton – early April
  • Wigan – late April
