Dr Matthew Evison Consultant in Respiratory Medicine (Thoracic Oncology) at MFT

GM Cancer Lung pathway is led by Dr Matt Evison MD MRCP(Respiratory). Matt qualified from Manchester University Medical School in 2004. Undertook specialist training in Respiratory Medicine 2008-2014 including a two year fellowship in Thoracic Oncology at the University Hospital of South Manchester (UHSM) completing an MD degree.

Matt was appointed as a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine (Thoracic Oncology) at UHSM in 2014. He is a member of two British Thoracic Society Specialist Advisory Groups (Lung Cancer & Mesothelioma and Pleural). Secretary of the Lung Cancer Group in the European Respiratory Society, member of the British Thoracic Oncology Group Steering Committee and member of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer Communications  committee.
