Earlier this year we announced that we would be working with Mustard Research, an award winning, independent market research agency, to gather views on our User Involvement Programme and how we ensure the programme works effectively and is accessible for all.
The Your Voice report is out now
Since the end of May we have been conducting research via focus groups, one-to-one interviews, an online community and an online survey.
The final report has now been published and you can read this on our User Involvement pages.
The report explores at what a successful and effective Cancer User Involvement Programme would look like and how can it be more diverse and work for everybody.
The team from Mustard spoke to current members of our User Involvement Network, potential members (people affected by cancer in Greater Manchester who are not currently members of the programme) as well as a range of stakeholders – people who are part of the Cancer UI Programme as part of their professional career. A total of 206 people took part.
The evaluation identified four main areas where we can build on the current strengths and make some improvements:
- design
- delivery
- relationships
- communication
