Do you know a voluntary, community or social enterprise organisation (VCSE) that would like to help play a part in increasing early cancer diagnosis rates in underserved communities in Greater Manchester?
The 10GM Cancer and Inequalities fund is offering grants of up to £5,000 for Greater Manchester-based VCSE organisations to deliver projects that will raise awareness of the early signs and symptoms of cancer and identify and understand the barriers people face when receiving a cancer diagnosis.
Early diagnosis is often the key to successfully treating cancer. It can make treatment more simple and less invasive and results in 55,000 additional lives saved each year.
Organisations don’t need to be cancer experts and 10GM will give you the support you need to help your community.
The deadline to apply for a grant is 12:00 noon, Monday 25 March 2024. All projects must be completed by 31 December 2024.
The Cancer & Inequalities Fund is managed by Salford CVS on behalf of 10GM and is supported by the GM Cancer Alliance.
