The Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance, in collaboration with MSD, is delighted to launch the LungAware online tool. What does the tool do? LungAware is a simple “decision tree” style tool. Users answer several straightforward questions, which ask about their age, smoking status, lung symptoms and the area of Greater Manchester in which they live. Once this information is submitted, the tool will provide advice on next steps. November is lung cancer awareness month, and so we have prepared a pack of social media assets to support with raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of lung cancer. The pack includes our "signs and symptoms of lung cancer" animation, some quote tiles from some of our lung cancer patient representatives, and suggested wording and alt text.
