We produced a series of short videos all focussed on improving metastatic cancer care.
Each video explores a different aspect of metastatic cancer, featuring patients sharing their perspectives, and healthcare professionals discussing the work taking place to improve metastatic cancer care.
The videos can be used in a range of ways, including workforce education, patient and public engagement, and system leadership influence. The table below provides an overview of each video, its key messages, intended audience, and suggested ways it can be used to maximise impact.
It is the responsibility of everyone working in cancer care in Greater Manchester to improve metastatic cancer care – join us in sharing these videos to create awareness, conversation and change.

| Metastatic cancer: every patient counts | There is no reliable data which tells us how many patients are living with metastatic cancer.
We have made good progress in developing a new data algorithm to identify patients who have previously been diagnosed with metastatic cancer. We are educating staff to record data accurately. |
