Abstracts are now invited for Virtual Cancer Week’s electronic poster gallery, which will showcase work that meets Greater Manchester Cancer’s vision of integration, innovation and collaboration.

Virtual Cancer week aims to provide an opportunity for our Greater Manchester network to understand how the system is responding to the challenge of saving lives and improving outcomes in cancer. We aim to showcase where GM is at the cutting edge, leading innovation through collaboration and integration, keeping the focus on improving patient services and outcomes at all times.

Our themes across the 5 days represent our overarching theme of The 2021 Cancer Challenge, including:

  • Living Well
  • Early Detection
  • COVID-19
  • Engaging Communities
  • International Impact

We invite abstracts that are particularly relating to the themes above. Full guidance, criteria and a submission form are provided below.

Submit your 250 word abstract, using the submission form and guidelines below, to gmvirtual.cancerweek@nhs.net by midnight on Sunday 4th April.

All abstracts should be submitted as a word document by email to: Gmvirtual.cancerweek@nhs.net

  • Deadline for submission is Sunday 4th April
  • You will be told if your abstract has been accepted by close of play on Monday 12th April

If you are submitting an abstract, you should be prepared to submit an electronic poster by Sunday 16th May. Accepted abstracts will be available in our electronic poster gallery.
