Targeted Lung Health Checks are currently being rolled out to people aged 55 to 74 who are current or former smokers across Greater Manchester over the coming months and years.
The programme has already seen patients from over 200 GP practices across Greater Manchester invited for a lung health check. Eligible patients (smokers and former smokers aged 55-74) will be sent an invite when the programme comes to their area. They will be rolled out to even more areas in the coming months and years to ensure that all eligible participants across Greater Manchester are invited.
People can find out if the checks have arrived at their GP surgery by visiting https://www.mft.nhs.uk/lunghealthcheck.
We currently need help to promote our new lung health checks launching in:
- Atherton, Wigan
- parts of Rochdale
- Gorton

We also need help to promote our ongoing Lung Health Check based in Salford. (***Please note there is a different website and phone number for people attending from Salford and that this service does not operate out of a mobile unit so avoid using the truck image.***)
