Lung Cancer Screening is currently being rolled out to people aged 55 to 74 who are current or former smokers across Greater Manchester over the coming months and years.
We are currently live across Withington, Didsbury, Chorlton, Burnage, Fallowfield (in Manchester) as well as in Oldham North/East and in Breightmet and Little Lever (in Bolton).
People will be offered free NHS Lung Health Checks when the NHS mobile unit comes to their area. Eligible patients (smokers and former smokers aged 55-74) will be sent an invite in the post. The checks will be rolled out to even more areas in the coming months and years to ensure that all eligible participants across Greater Manchester are invited.
People can find out if the checks have arrived at their GP surgery by visiting https://www.mft.nhs.uk/lunghealthcheck.
